Takumo is a selective, systemic post-emergence grassy herbicide of annual and perennial grasses belonging to a new chemical class of the aryloxy phenoxy-propionates group.
Technical name: Propaquizafop 10% EC
Mode of Action: Takumo acts as an acetyl CoA carboxylase inhibitor. Propaquizafop which is the active ingredient of Takumo is a herbicide that is used for controlling grass weeds in broadleaf Crop. This herbicide kills grass weeds by binding to a target site protein in the weed called acetyl-CoA carboxylase and blocks it from functioning.
