LUMIPHOS
Lumiphos Tablet is used as a broad-spectrum fumigation pesticide. It contains 15% Aluminum Phosphide as active ingredient, mainly used for fumigating and killing cargo storage pests, a variety of space pests, grain storage pests, seed storage pests, outdoor rodents in caves, etc.

Mode of Action: Lumiphos is a respiratory poison which liberates lethal phosphine gas when it comes in contact either with atmospheric moisture or with hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The mechanism of toxicity includes cellular hypoxia due to the effect on mitochondria, inhibition of cytochrome C oxidase and formation of highly reactive hydroxyl radicals.
